We are Eric & Beth Gambardella  - full-time staff workers for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA at Christopher Newport University in Newport News, VA.

Graduates of CNU ourselves, we were a part of InterVarsity at CNU from 2001-2005 under the leadership of former IV staff, Kevin Hass.  Although we both grew up going to church, neither of us had truly embraced our faith as our own decision and committment until coming to CNU.  God used InterVarsity to teach us about having a personal relationship with Him, finding Truth in his Word, and finding grace in response to our sin.  Our lives were radically changed.

After becoming involved in large & small group meetings, we both served on student leadership with InterVarsity.  This gave us invaluable experience running Bible Studies, leading with the worship team, coordinating events and discipling other students. Senior year of college we got engaged and felt the Lord calling us to do campus ministry together, as a career.  

After being hired by InterVarsity in the Blue Ridge region, Eric trained at JMU and Beth trained at William & Mary to prepare for full-time campus work.  We were placed at CNU in 2006 when Kevin Hass left to start a church in Newport News.

We love our job - which is so much more than a job.  It is an immense blessing to be able to minister to students on this campus and watch God grow His glory at CNU year after year!
